Welcome to the last day of our Triple Hop! How fun has this hop been! So many beautiful layouts and projects! I hope we have inspired you to get out your supplies and scrap a little!

Today our focus is Cork and Mixed Media- two of my favorites…but who am I kidding, they are all my favorites! You should have arrived here from Rachel’s blog…isn’t she sweet? And I’m sure you enjoyed her project tons!
I chose to do a layout for you today using lots of Shimmerz products, cork-fetti, and the brand- new Crate Paper line Cool Kid!
I started by creating a background using a stencil from Ranger, the Dylusions range, Shimmerz Texturz in The Tide That Binds and Lemon Drop Dazzlerz . Once that was completely dry, I used Heidi Swapp Color Shine in black, Dylusions spray ink in white, and Coloringz in Oh Say Can You Sea. I LOVE how the Dylusions white ink sat on top of the Shimmerz products. Instead of making splatters with it, I actually sprayed it on the page…that effect was so, so cool! I will definitely use this technique again!
After my background was dry, I just added a little paper and embellishments to help tell the story…a very simple story of what my son did his first day of summer vacation…played with Legos…of course!
Some star Cork Confetti and Believe In You sequins were the perfect finishing touches!
